Privacy Policy

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.sociallynx.com and Do-It-Yourself Marketspace, LLC (dba Social Lynx) and governs data collection, media delivery, and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Do-It-Yourself Marketspace, LLC include www.sociallynx.com and Social Lynx. Social Lynx is a video-first creator platform and digital media marketplace. By using the Social Lynx website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

Social Lynx may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, billing address, and username. When you subscribe to creator membership feeds, purchase digital products, or receive creator payouts, we and our authorized processing partners collect necessary billing, banking, or tax identification details.

Automated Device, Video Telemetry & DRM Security Data: Information about your computer hardware, mobile device, and network connection is automatically collected by Social Lynx. This information includes: your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, access times, referring website addresses, video playback events (e.g., watch time, bitrate selections, buffering metrics), and digital rights management (DRM) authentication tokens. This technical data is utilized to deliver high-performance streaming, maintain service quality, protect intellectual property, prevent unauthorized stream-ripping or circumvention, and provide operational analytics.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or sensitive data through public comments, creator walls, or community interactions on Social Lynx, this information may be viewed and collected by others.

Use of your Personal Information

Social Lynx collects and uses your personal information to operate its platform, transcode and deliver video streams, process membership transactions, distribute creator payouts, and deliver the services you have requested.

Social Lynx does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists or personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers and Sub-Processors

To operate our video streaming infrastructure, process global transactions, and comply with legal requirements, Social Lynx shares specific data with trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors):
  • Video Hosting & Global Edge CDNs: We partner with enterprise media infrastructure providers (such as Bunny.net) to securely transcode, cache, protect with tokenized DRM, and stream video content worldwide.
  • Payment Rails & Merchant Gateways: Payment transactions (including multi-currency settlement and cross-border processing) are processed through certified PCI-DSS compliant gateways, such as Braintree and PayPal. Social Lynx does not store raw credit card numbers on its servers.
  • Creator Identity, KYC & Payout Compliance: For creators receiving disbursements, banking and tax verification details are processed via specialized compliance partners (such as Tipalti).

All such third-party providers are contractually prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Social Lynx, and they are required to maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards.

Compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 & Legal Disclosures

Social Lynx operates strictly as a Secondary Provider of digital content. In accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. § 75, Social Lynx does not produce content and does not maintain primary age and identity verification records of performers. All required records are maintained by the individual Primary Producers (the Creators) at their respective places of business. Social Lynx will disclose account details and platform logs, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with valid legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

Use of Cookies and Streaming Tokens

The Social Lynx website uses "cookies" and session-based authentication tokens to personalize your online experience and authenticate video streams. These tokens verify subscriber permissions, remember display preferences, and prevent session hijacking. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may degrade media playback and platform functionality.

Security of your Personal Information

Social Lynx implements administrative, physical, and technological security controls to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. When sensitive information (such as payment card data) is transmitted, it is protected through cryptographic protocols such as Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) and tokenized authentication rails.

Children Under Thirteen

Social Lynx does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you are not permitted to use this website. If you are under the age of eighteen, you may use Social Lynx only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
